Privacy Policy

1. About Emitii

Emitii is a business workspace operated by Gurzu Private Limited ("Gurzu", "we", "us"). It brings communication, projects, tasks, documents, files, calendars and timesheets together in one connected workspace, with an AI assistant (Emit) that works inside each space.

2. Our role

Each organization ("workspace") decides who it invites, what its people store in Emitii and how that content is used. Gurzu operates the platform, secures the accounts and processes data on the workspace's behalf to provide the service.

3. Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and password, or your Google sign-in.
• Security logs: basic technical data, such as IP address and browser, used to keep the service secure.
• Website analytics: on emitii.com's public pages only, Google Analytics cookies, and only after you accept them in the cookie banner.

What your team adds to Emitii, such as messages, tasks, docs and files, belongs to your workspace. It is stored encrypted and used only to provide Emitii to your workspace.

4. Information from Google

When you sign in with Google, Emitii uses it for two things only:

• Sign-in: we receive your name, email address and profile photo to sign you in.
• Google Calendar: we read your calendar events to show them on your My Calendar page, as described in Section 7.

We do not access any other Google data.

5. How we use information

Only to run Emitii for your workspace: to sign you in, store your content and show it to the people allowed to see it, send the notifications you choose, keep the service secure, and provide support. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

6. AI features and your content

Emit and @emitii work inside the space they are asked in and only use what the person asking is allowed to see. Every change Emit proposes waits for a person to approve it. Gurzu does not:

• sell your content;
• use it for advertising or share it with data brokers;
• use your content to train our own or any third party's general-purpose or public AI models.

To provide AI features we may send content to vetted AI providers under contractual confidentiality and no-training terms. Workspace administrators decide which spaces and people can use AI.

7. Google user data

If you connect Google Calendar, Emitii reads your calendar events (title, time, event link and your RSVP) only to show them on your My Calendar page. We do not store these events, share them, sell them, or send them to any AI model, and we do not use them to create, train or improve any AI/ML model. You can disconnect Google at any time.

The use of raw or derived user data received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8. How information is shared

• Within the workspace: with the members and guests who have access to the space or item, according to the workspace's access settings.
• For legal reasons: when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
• In corporate transactions: to a successor entity, subject to this policy.

We do not disclose workspace content publicly.

9. Data retention

• Access tokens: until they expire, are revoked, or deletion is requested.
• Operational logs: up to 90 days.
• Security / audit records: up to 12 months.
• Backups: up to 90 days before being overwritten.

Workspace content is retained while the workspace is active and deleted per Section 11 on request or account closure.

10. Disconnecting connected access

You can revoke a CLI token or disconnect a connected Google account at any time. This stops new data requests and removes the stored token. Previously stored data remains subject to the retention periods above unless separately deleted.

11. Data deletion

Users and workspaces may request deletion of their data on the Emitii Data Deletion page or by emailing info@emitii.com. We may verify identity first. Deletion is normally completed within 30 days, unless a longer period is legally required.

12. Information security

We use authentication, role-based permissions, workspace isolation, encryption of data in transit and at rest, restricted access tokens, and logging. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

13. International processing

Gurzu and its providers may process data in countries other than yours, using reasonable contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards.

14. Your privacy rights

Subject to law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, a copy of your data, or withdrawal of consent by emailing info@emitii.com.

15. Guests and other workspace users

If a business invited you to Emitii as a member or guest, that business controls the workspace. Contact it directly for data requests. You may also contact us at info@emitii.com and we will coordinate with the workspace administrator.

16. Children

Emitii is not intended for anyone under 13, or the minimum age in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly create accounts for children.

17. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will revise the "Last updated" date above.
